What is a Promise?

Here at the iPromise Bank, we believe that our Promises shape our world. Whether it’s an ordinary promise, like “I promise to do the dishes when I get home,” or something much more profound, our promises have an impact.
The iPromise Bank is a place to register the promises you make - so that you (and others) can return to the word you gave. In particular, we are interested in the deeper promises, the ones that guide us even when we aren’t necessarily paying attention...the promises that live in the heart of who we are.
We encourage our members to look inside, to look in their community, and to discover the commitment that lights them up, connects them to their world, and inspires them to take bold action to make the difference they want to make with their life.
